2022 is just around the corner, no doubt with much uncertainty about how we will be working. Will we return to the office anytime soon, or will work from home become the norm for those who can? What new employment rules and regulations will be implemented and how will those be interpreted?
I’m sure I will continue to have many questions to keep me busy from workers up and down the country. Here are just a few I have received over the Christmas period.
Q My partner who i live with has been diagnosed with covid. i have tested negative. I work in a care home and my manager has asked me to not to come into work for a few day then I'm to take a test to make sure I'm free of covid before going back to work. My question is do they need to pay me sick pay as my contract state they don't pay sick pay.
