Q. I need to help or advise regarding redundancy. My partner has been working with amazon uk for over 8 years now. And one of it sites is closing down. now the redundancy package that was offered is very compared to others who have been with amazon for the same period. She was averaging 40 to 60 hours up until last year , when she had to cut her hours to 16 to 20 hours , because of child care.
Now redundancy offers came into while effect while she was on 16 to 20 contact. is this what they base the redundancy on because before last year as stated above she was averaging 40 to 60 per week so have to calculate it wrong and does she have a case. Can really do with some advice and guidance on this.
