How much holiday for part time work?

Q. I’m contracted 20 hrs week how much holiday should I be expecting? I get 19 days at moment, thanks

A. I can’t say how many days you should expect as you have only stated you work 20 hours per week. However, 20 hours per week will give you a statutory minimum entitlement of 112 hours per year. So, divide the 120 hours by the hours you work per day and you have your answer.

Working from home and recalled to the office

Q. I was approved to permanently work from home around 10 months ago, with the clause in my contract that my employer could request for me to return to the office if needed. I received a call from my manager in June 2022 to advise that I am required to return to the office one day a week, after a few discussions this was agreed amongst us all and I received this arrangement in writing from my manager and director cc'd in confirming that the one day was required but this is non mandatory, cannot be forced upon me but they hoped that I was on board with it.

Before the 1 day even started I was then told that the requirement has now changed from one day to 3 days as this now the requirement. I challenged this with my manager,

director and HR about this as I had already had it in writing that I was required to do the non mandatory 1 day a week and was advised that this email was sent to me in error and did not stand for anything. What I am trying to gain some clarification on is even though they confirmed in writing to me about the one day and now to be told it was sent to me in error, can they just revoke this written confirmation and request the 3 days, why should I have to accept someone else's error?
