Q. Please is a bank staff entitled to holiday pay
A. Yes, workers accrue holidays no matter what type of employment contract they are working under. Everybody is entitled to a statutory minimum of 5.6 weeks, so if the work is part-time it is calculated pro rata. Failure to pay your holiday is an unlawful deduction from wages and can be claimed through the employment tribunal.
