Q. I was told that's there are redundancy and I'm potentially up for it so I asked for voluntary redundancy. But was told off the record by a manager that even tho I've received the letter saying I could be up for redundancy I'm the one person that is safe because of length of service and would cost the company to much money to make redundant. Is it lawful to start with who you know your keeping from redundancy even tho you have sent them a letter of intent?
