The Illegal Immigration Act

It seems to be one hurdle after another for the government at the moment

In a bid to tackle illegal immigration and strengthen border controls, the government is on the verge of enacting a new Illegal Immigration Act. This comprehensive legislation, expected to become law soon, has undergone rigorous scrutiny and debate within both the House of Commons and the House of Lords. The Prime Minister has set this out as one of his five pledges - halve inflation, grow the economy, reduce debt, cut the NHS waiting list and last but not least, stop the boats.
