Paul Scully, Minister for Small Business, Consumers and Labour Markets, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, has set out the new tribunal limits in the The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2022.
Most notable is:
The increase for the maximum amount of a week’s pay for the purpose of calculating a redundancy payment or for various awards including the basic or additional award of compensation for unfair dismissal. From £544 - £571.
The limit on the amount of compensatory award for unfair dismissal rises from £89,493 to £93,878.
The changes will take effect from 6 April 2022.
